PNOC Foundation Welcomes Pediatric Cancer Advocate Rob Stuart to Its Board of Directors

Rob Stuart brings community-rooted fundraising experience to PNOC Foundation’s board

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, UNITED STATES, September 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Rob Stuart, co-founder of the Jordan and Kyra Memorial Foundation and a longtime advocate for children with brain tumors, has joined the Board of Directors of PNOC Foundation, the national fundraising partner for the Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Consortium (PNOC).

Stuart’s advocacy work spans more than three decades, rooted in his personal experience with pediatric brain cancer. He co-founded the Santa Cruz–based Jordan and Kyra Memorial Foundation in memory of Jordan Stuart, his son, and Kyra Pillsbury, two children lost to the disease. Over 30 years, the foundation has raised more than $5 million directed toward pediatric cancer research and family support services.

“I remember walking out of that UC medical center for the last time. I’d done everything I could as a dad to get my son healthy, and I was walking out thinking my life’s never going to be the same again. I can’t walk away and act like this didn’t happen,” said Stuart, speaking at the 2025 PNOC Foundation Gratitude Gala. “I’m so grateful to Bruce and Allyn for the work they are doing with PNOC Foundation. I encourage people to give liberally so no parent has to hear that there’s nothing else that they can do for your child. What this organization does is give children and families a fighting chance, and that is beyond measure.”

Stuart’s addition to the board deepens PNOC Foundation’s connection to the patient families and communities at the center of its Lose No Child campaign, which drives the funding behind PNOC’s global research and clinical trial network.

PNOC’s leadership team has long recognized Stuart’s work as closely aligned with the foundation’s own mission. “Rob brings something to this board that is difficult to teach: a ground-level understanding of what it takes to build lasting community around a cause, and why that community matters,” said Allyn Campbell, PNOC Foundation Co-Founder. “His decades of work have made a tangible difference for families and researchers alike, and we are glad to have him at the table.”
