The firm’s first Bay Area location will serve venture-backed, public, and founder-led companies with accounting, tax, and transactional services.
SAN MATEO, CA, UNITED STATES, September 10, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — KBF Advisory, a leading, specialty tax and advisory firm, today announced the opening of its first San Francisco Bay Area office, in San Mateo, California. The new location marks KBF’s entry into the San Francisco Bay Area market, putting the firm closer to fast-growing technology companies, which make up 30% of its client base, along with other venture-backed, public, and founder-led companies in the region.
The office is located at 400 Concar Drive, San Mateo, CA 94402, and is led by Kerry Chow and Danit Neeman, both Controllers in the firm’s Managed Accounting Services practice. Kerry Chow began her career at PwC and has more than 20 years of experience leading finance and accounting functions for SaaS technology companies, including finance transformation and post-acquisition integration work. Danit Neeman is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 25 years of financial leadership experience, including executive roles as CFO and VP Finance in the technology industry.
Chow and Neeman will lead KBF’s growth in the region. KBF plans to add team members in the market as the office grows.
The San Mateo office provides financial support for venture-backed and public companies, including compliance, cross-border structuring, and transactional services. The team also works with emerging growth companies and founder-led organizations to manage day-to-day accounting operations, allowing leadership to focus on running the business.
Priority services in the region include Quality of Earnings reports, buy-side and sell-side due diligence, deal readiness support, and managed accounting services. Clients also have access to KBF’s full range of services, including audit and assurance, Accounting for Income Tax (ASC 740) and GAAP advisory, and tax planning and compliance for foreign businesses establishing a U.S. presence.
