Transformation Systems, Inc. (TSi), a Human Capital Services firm supporting federal and commercial customers, today announced it has achieved Final Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 status following an assessment by an authorized CMMC Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO).

The certification provides independent validation that TSi’s assessed information system conforms to the security requirements of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800-171 Revision 2, in accordance with CMMC requirements established under 32 CFR Part 170.

TSi completed its C3PAO assessment in July after more than two years of preparation and investment in the people, technology, policies and processes required to strengthen its cybersecurity environment. TSi received Final CMMC Level 2 status on August 10, 2026.

“Cybersecurity done right isn’t about satisfying a government requirement. It’s about earning trust,” said Shawn James, President and CEO of Transformation Systems, Inc. “Whether we’re supporting a federal customer, partnering with a prime contractor or pursuing new opportunities, we want people to know that TSi has done the work. Third-party validation demonstrates commitment, maturity and accountability in a way that self-attestation simply can’t.”

TSi continued its assessment despite a shift in the Department of Defense’s CMMC implementation timeline that occurred during the assessment. The decision reflected TSi’s belief that protecting sensitive information should not depend on a compliance deadline.

“Achieving CMMC Level 2 is an important milestone for TSi, but the certificate isn’t the finish line,” James added. “The real value is knowing we’ve built stronger practices into how we operate and how we protect the information entrusted to us. That commitment continues regardless of where the regulatory timeline goes next.”
