New AI-native platform detects, reviews and corrects compliance and content sensitivity issues for broadcasters, streaming services and content owners

BURBANK, CA, UNITED STATES, September 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Venera Technologies today announced Qompli™ (pronounced “Comply”), a new AI-native compliance and content intelligence platform designed to help broadcasters, streaming services and content owners automatically detect, review and correct compliance-sensitive content at scale.

As media organizations distribute content across an increasing number of platforms and territories, compliance requirements are becoming increasingly complex. Qompli addresses this challenge by automatically identifying content requiring editorial or regulatory review and helping operators take corrective action—reducing manual effort while accelerating compliant content delivery.

From Detection to Correction

Qompli goes beyond simply identifying compliance issues. Detected issues are presented with frame-accurate location information and object coordinates, enabling operators to see exactly where an offending item appears in the content.

Through its integration with Venera’s QCtudio® review/collaboration environment, Qompli provides AI-assisted correction suggestions, including treatments such as warning signs, redaction, blurring, masking and audio beeping. Operators remain in control! They can review and approve suggested corrections and generate a new corrected media file, or alternatively export an EDL (Edit Decision List) containing the identified issues for use in popular editing systems.

This creates a complete workflow—from detection and review through correction and delivery—while keeping human operators in control of the final decision.

AI-Powered Compliance Analysis

The initial release automatically detects:
• Smoking
• Alcohol
• Nudity

Additional categories, including violence, gore, sexual content, drugs and other compliance-sensitive content, are planned for future releases.

Unlike generic AI services, Qompli is powered by Venera’s proprietary sovereign AI models, giving customers greater control over deployment, customization and data privacy. Organizations can deploy Qompli in cloud, on-premises or hybrid environments while maintaining control over their sensitive media assets.

Purpose-built for broadcast and OTT workflows, Qompli is designed to deliver high detection accuracy across key compliance categories while reducing manual review and increasing confidence in automated compliance decisions.

“Compliance review is becoming one of the fastest-growing operational challenges facing the media industry,” said Vikas Singhal, CEO of Venera Technologies. “With Qompli, we’re applying AI not only to identify compliance issues, but to help customers resolve them. By combining precise detection, intelligent correction suggestions and automated creation of corrected media, Qompli can take a process that has traditionally required extensive manual review and turn it into a streamlined, operator-controlled workflow. The result is faster turnaround, greater consistency and a more scalable approach to compliance.”

Qompli will be demonstrated publicly for the first time during IBC 2026 (Amsterdam, September 11-14) at the Venera Technologies booth (Hall 7, Stand 7.D45) and is made publicly available on October 1st. Visit www.veneratech.com/IBC2026 to schedule a meeting.
