Azara Healthcare, the four-time Best in KLAS provider of population health and value-based care solutions, today announced two key additions to its executive leadership team. Ashley Basile joins the company as Chief Strategy Officer and Josh Taylor as Chief Revenue Officer, strengthening the leadership team as Azara expands its platform to deepen collaboration across the healthcare ecosystem.
“Healthcare organizations are navigating unprecedented change as they work to improve outcomes, lower costs and respond to an increasingly complex value-based care landscape,” said Mary Lantin, President & CEO of Azara Healthcare. “They need trusted technology partners that can connect data, insights and action to improve quality, advance collaboration and deliver measurable impact. Ashley and Josh bring complementary strengths that will help sharpen our strategic direction, accelerate innovation, and expand Azara’s impact. Together, they will strengthen our ability to build on Azara’s deep roots in the safety net while helping providers, hospitals, health plans and community partners work together more effectively to improve outcomes for the populations they serve.”
Ashley Basile, Chief Strategy Officer
As Chief Strategy Officer, Basile will lead Azara’s enterprise strategy, corporate development initiatives, market positioning and the company’s AI roadmap. She will work across product, marketing and commercial teams to define the company’s long-term strategic direction, accelerate innovation and strengthen Azara’s position as a trusted operating layer for value-based, mission-driven care, connecting organizations across the healthcare ecosystem to improve quality, coordination and outcomes.
Basile brings more than 15 years of experience leading healthcare technology strategy, product innovation and market growth. Most recently, she served as Chief Product Officer of Clinical Solutions at Availity, where she led strategy and product management for the company’s clinical data solutions business. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at OptumInsight, a UnitedHealth Group company, helping healthcare organizations use data to advance quality, enhance care delivery and manage total cost of care. Basile holds a Ph.D. in health policy and management from Harvard University, where her work focused on health system quality improvement and care coordination for complex patients.
“Azara has earned a remarkable reputation for helping safety-net organizations improve outcomes for some of the nation’s most vulnerable populations,” Basile said. “I’m excited to build on that foundation by helping shape the next generation of solutions that empower healthcare organizations to turn data into action, succeed in value-based care and deliver better outcomes for the communities they serve.”
Josh Taylor, Chief Revenue Officer
As Chief Revenue Officer, Taylor will lead Azara’s commercial organization and drive the company’s growth strategy across providers, health plans and strategic partners. He will be responsible for building and executing Azara’s go-to-market engine, with a focus on scaling growth, expanding strategic partnerships and ensuring Azara continues to deliver exceptional value to healthcare organizations navigating an increasingly complex value-based care landscape.
Taylor brings more than 15 years of healthcare technology leadership experience, with a track record of building high-performing commercial organizations and accelerating growth across provider, payer and partner organizations. Most recently, he served as Chief Growth Officer at symplr, where he led sales, business development, sales operations, enablement and pre-sales functions. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly a decade at Cerner Corporation leading client-facing and delivery organizations supporting some of the nation’s largest health systems.
“Healthcare organizations are looking for partners who can help them navigate increasing complexity while improving performance,” Taylor said. “Azara has earned tremendous trust in the market and I’m excited to build on that foundation by helping more providers, health plans and community partners realize the full value of our platform and the measurable impact it can deliver.”
