Smaller, lighter, more flexible armored fiber technologies for indoor, outside plant and direct burial use increase data capacity while lowering cost of install
LINDENHURST, NY, UNITED STATES, August 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — TiniFiber®, the innovator and patent holder behind the industry’s most advanced lightweight fiber optic cabling systems, has confirmed it will attend the 2026 ISE Expo, showcasing its technologies that increase fiber densities and lower installation costs.
The event is the first since TiniFiber’s acquisition of CoreLinc. This created a more complete, vertically integrated fiber optic platform and enhanced the company’s deep connectivity expertise, while also extending TiniFiber’s portfolio of services, strengthening its logistical capabilities and delivering a greater reach across North America.
TiniFiber’s Micro Armor implements an enhanced steel-Kevlar®-based casing that delivers the protection of Aluminum Interlocking Armor (AIA), but in a housing that is 75% lighter, 65% thinner and with a bend radius 50% smaller.
The result is a fiber that is resilient to corrosion, rodent bites, moisture and accidental damage, and that is able to make better use of available conduit space, especially well pulled through tight bends.
The company has also applied this technology to direct burial and outside plant variants. All three classes have been shown to speed installation times by over 40%, using teams that are over 30% smaller than would be possible for AIA and competing technologies.
ISE Expo takes place this year from August 18-20 in Nashville, TN’s Music City Center. TiniFiber will be located at stand #1301 throughout the expo.
The company’s technology is available for use in A/V and security, commercial, fiber-to-the-home (FTTH), medical, solar and renewables, transportation, data centers, and industrial/factory floors among other advanced applications. In addition to Micro Armor, visitors to the event will also be able to discuss the company’s pre-terminated MPO assemblies, its portfolio of tools and test solutions, and custom cabling options.
“Whether it’s for a data center, transport hub, or campus facility, the need to add throughput quickly has never been greater. But with conduits reaching their maximum capacity, the cost of achieving this is only getting higher. Micro Armor technology now reinforced by CoreLinc’s deep connectivity expertise changes this, with smaller diameters and greater flexibility to allow more fibers in the same space,” said TiniFiber CEO, Tom Artinian.
