Hosted by Paul Sullivan, Weekly Digital Series Pairs Nine Holes with Candid Conversations About Fatherhood

A round of golf gives us honest conversations about fatherhood, identity, relationships, and the pressures men carry—and to show that meaningful storytelling can still be genuinely fun to watch.””

— Adam Ukman, founder of The Dads Initiative

NEW YORK, IL, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Dads Initiative (TDI), known for creating entertaining, emotionally intelligent, and culturally relevant content for modern fathers and men, is expanding its slate of original programming with the debut of its new show Cart Talk.

The weekly online series—the second produced under The Dads Initiative banner—follows two dads playing 9 holes of golf, creating an opportunity for honest conversations to unfold about the sport, life, and fatherhood. A truly candid dialogue that lands somewhere between the game at hand and everything happening outside it, the series is hosted by veteran journalist, author, public speaker, and avid golfer Paul Sullivan.

A veteran journalist and author, Cart Talk host Paul Sullivan founded The Company of Dads after spending 13 years writing the Wealth Matters column for The New York Times where he also spent six years writing on the business of golf. Earlier in his career, he spent six years as a reporter, editor, and columnist at the Financial Times. His work has appeared in Fortune, Money, Barron’s, The Boston Globe, GOLF Magazine, and Golf Digest, where he is a contributing editor.

“Some of the best conversations happen when you’re doing something else—and golf creates a lot of room for that,” said Paul Sullivan, host of Cart Talk. “I’ve spent my career asking people questions, and I’ve spent a lot of my life on golf courses. Cart Talk brings those worlds together and creates space for honest, unexpected conversations about life, family, and everything that comes with it.”

An avid golfer who often plays with one of his three daughters, Sullivan brings a distinctive combination of journalistic curiosity, golf credibility, and lived experience as a father to the series, creating space for conversations that can be both funny and familiar one moment and unexpectedly candid the next. The first episodes will see Sullivan hit the course with Golf Digest’s Editorial Director Max Adler, acclaimed golf writer and author Tom Coyne, and Sal Syed, co-founder and CEO of Arccos Golf, setting the tone for the series.

Cart Talk will debut new episodes expected online and across The Dads Initiative’s digital channels.
