Barbour entered the travel industry in 2005 under host agency Travel Professionals International and built Travel Time Agency from there over the following two decades. A Sandals Resort stay in 2007, two years into her career, shaped much of the agency’s current focus: Barbour has since specialized in destination weddings and honeymoons, working to help other couples create similar experiences. She holds the Certified Travel Counsellor and Master Cruise Counsellor designations and is the only Sandals Chairman’s Royal Club member in Newfoundland.

The agency’s advisors handle a range of travel planning. Cruises and all-inclusive resort bookings make up a steady part of the work. Destination weddings and multi-generational family trips, which tend to involve more logistics such as group accommodations, vendor coordination, and travel advisories for multiple destinations, have become a larger share of the business over the past several years. The new office gives the team a larger space to work through these details together as the agency continues to grow.
