Earnhardt Family Celebrates 75th Anniversary with Surprise Donation to Child Crisis Arizona

PHOENIX, AZ / ACCESS Newswire / August 12, 2026 / As Earnhardt Auto Centers continues celebrating an incredible milestone, their 75th Anniversary, the Earnhardt Family is making a surprise donation of $25,075 to Child Crisis Arizona, an organization providing emergency shelter, foster care, adoption and family support services to Arizona’s most vulnerable children and youth. The amount is no accident. It carries the 75 that made the gift possible.

This is the latest in a series of surprise donations to area charities, made to honor the company’s milestone anniversary and commemorate the late Tex Earnhardt, founder of the famous auto group.

“We looked for organizations doing work Tex would have recognized as important, and this one was easy,” said Nature Earnhardt. “There is nothing more basic than making sure a child has somewhere safe to sleep tonight.”

At 1:30pm on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 424 W. Rio Salado Parkway in Mesa, AZ the Earnhardt Family will personally present Child Crisis Arizona with a check for $25,075.

“Our patriarch, my grandfather Tex, instilled a belief in our family and our company that you support the communities around you,” said Derby Earnhardt. “That is why we are marking our 75th anniversary with surprise donations to local charities in and around the Phoenix area.”

For 75 years, the Earnhardt family has been more than a group of local business owners. They have invested in the Phoenix region through consistent financial support and hands-on service by both the family and the employees of Earnhardt Auto Centers. From first responders and educators to foster children and the medically vulnerable, the family’s giving reflects the same “No Bull” approach that built the business.

“Our philanthropy has grown right alongside the business, from one dealership selling one car at a time in 1951 to 17 new car dealerships in 2026,” said sons Hal Earnhardt III and Jim Babe Earnhardt. “Dad believed a company is only as strong as the neighborhood it serves. Giving back is a debt of gratitude we intend to keep paying.”

Earlier 75th anniversary surprise donation have gone to the Boys & Girls Club of the Valley, the 100 Club of Arizona, the Arizona Humane Society, Ava’s Treehouse at the Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children, Make-A-Wish Arizona and St. Mary’s Food Bank.
